Message to Readers

Hi everyone, I hope you enjoy reading my writing as much as I enjoy writing it! And please remember to accompany your likes with comments!

Also as much as I really want (and need) a review for this piece, if you only have compliments and no constructive criticism, please give it to me in the comments section. I LOVE hearing your compliments about my piece but I need reviews for improving my piece. I am not in the least afraid of harsh criticism so PLEASE don't be afraid to fault anything at all in any of my pieces. Thankyou!

A Dedication to Alan Turing

The clack of a gear
The turn of a cog
A preposterous way to see through the fog
Of the Code among Codes
The riddle of war
But the German's Enigma an enigma no more,
Because of a man
Who lived in disgrace
Living a life of rejection and hate
And who kindled the fire
Burning inside
And poured it into his work as he tried
To break Enigma -
An impossible feat
He built a machine and when it was complete
It failed to function
His work to no avail
Was it not? Not so - he was soon to prevail!
In a moment of truth
It all came together -
The German's worst weapon disarmed forever

The Father of computers
Ever enduring
May your memory always live on, Alan Turing.
This is dedicated to Alan Turing, master codebreaker, without whom I would never have existed.

There was actually another line at the end (describing the end of his life) but WTW removed the whole piece due to regulations. But republished now! All good.
