Dear Elizabeth,

July 14, 2021

What a perfect picture you were
So composed, so divine
Commoners looked at me
Thought I was a ticking bomb in time
Well so did I
Given from birth
A belittling superiority
A queen for that matter
A back up for the latter
I do not blame you
Always so sweet, always saw the best in me
Stepping out of your blinding light
Was a must
But that made me do things
I ought to have not
Margaret was my name
Not the backup to the queen
For you now know the story of the only sister
Of the United kingdom’s queen
